Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard of Team PartyPoker is one of the best tournament poker players on the planet. He is also the latest champion of our weekly flagship event, the $150,000 Guaranteed Sunday Party.
On April 16, Leonard was the last player to participate in the Super $320, a result that netted the popular pro $7,983 including bonuses. It was also the day Leonard fought his way to Day 2 of the $109 and $150,000 Guaranteed Sunday Party, earning himself the chance to win two high-stakes poker tournaments in the future. space of two days.
This weekend’s Sunday Party drew 1,354 entrants, who fought tooth and nail to grab the lion’s share of the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. Day 1 ended when Leonard’s teammate Matt “MatthewStaples” Staples crashed out in 16th place along with 17th “Wuffwuffwuff88”.
Sunday Party Day 2 which has to be the best MTT online these days. Great structure, layering, infinite satellites, players from pennies and so much bang for your buck. Also sneaky (sneaky) win in @partypoker $320. All actions on Insta stories as usual “padsonpoker” pic.twitter.com/Gg4UJ6dJzH

Day 2 was shuffled and dealt at 7:05 p.m. BST on April 17 with Leonard and 14 other PartyPoker players in the hunt for the title. “Jake.Paul”, who finished eighth in the Grand Prix Spring Main Event a few weeks ago, was the first player to head to the rail. They won $1,539 thanks, in part, to nearly $1,000 in bonuses.
At the time the nine-player final table was set, the least anyone could win from the main prize pool was $966, but that sum was significantly increased by the bonuses each player had earned.

‘Ghggggg’ may have made it to the Sunday Party final table, but that time was short-lived. Ghggggg crashed out in ninth place and was awarded $1,821 for his effort. ‘BlueRedJack’ joined the ever-growing list of eliminated players, their eighth place finish coming with a $2,179 boost to their bankroll.
Seventh place and $2,179 went to ‘SixBetShove’ before ‘thatsmaadted’ had their hopes of victory dashed; they had to settle for a sixth-place prize of $2,602.
Jumps in prize money began to increase, making every decision more tense. “Byblood” clinched fifth position and saw $4,312 land in its PartyPoker account. “Sh0es” stumbled to fourth for $5,316, before “Panipak” took third for $8,120.
Panipak’s untimely demise left our own Leonard one-on-one with “ScumGame.” The two players locked up over $9,400 from the main prize pool, but the final PKO bounty payout was worth nearly as much. Leonard, who is very experienced, rarely loses once he comes face to face, and last night was not one of those rare occasions. Leonard brushed aside his worthy opponent and collected a total of $18,747, resigning from ScumGame for a consolation prize of $11,927.
